Our approach
What you can expect from us
Clearing out a home after a death requires a different approach than a regular cleanup. We take the time needed.
Discreet and quiet
We work calmly and respectfully, without rushing unnecessarily. What’s inside the home stays between us.
Personal items set aside
We set aside any jewelry, documents, photos, or furniture that the family wishes to keep. Please let us know in advance what should be kept.
Even without your presence
Through a key handover, in consultation with the notary, the landlord, or a family member. You do not have to be present if you do not want to or are unable to.
Proof of disposal
For the notary, the estate file, or the landlord. We’ll send photos of the empty home upon request.

Before You Begin: Inheritance and Rental Properties
There are a few things you should take care of before the clearance. If you’re unsure, always consult with the notary first.
Haven't accepted the inheritance yet?
According to notaris.be, clearing out the deceased’s home may be considered tacit acceptance of the inheritance, including any debts. So decide first, and consult with the notary.

Was the deceased the last tenant, with a lease that began on January 1, 2019? If so, the lease in Flanders automatically ends at the end of the second month following the death. Be sure to schedule the clearance in a timely manner.
