In this statement, we explain how we collect data, why we store it, and what your rights are.<\/p><h3 data-path-to-node=\"6\">What data do we collect?<\/h3><p data-path-to-node=\"7\">We process the following data, which is necessary for our services:<\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"8\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Identification:<\/b> First name and last name.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Contact:<\/b> Phone number, email address, and the shipyard's address.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Visuals<\/b> Photos and videos of the construction site\/project (before, during, and after the work).<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"8,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"8,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Administration<\/b> Billing information and any communication history via WhatsApp or email.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-path-to-node=\"9\">2. Purposes of Processing<\/h3><p data-path-to-node=\"10\">We use this data for:<\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"11\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"11,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"11,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Execution of the assignment:<\/b> Planning, execution, and invoicing.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"11,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"11,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Quality control and evidence:<\/b> Photos and videos serve as proof of the condition of the property and its proper handover.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"11,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"11,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Promotion:<\/b> We sometimes create visual materials (photos\/videos) of successful projects to use for our portfolio or for promotion on social media and our website.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3>3. Applications via our website<\/h3><p><b>What information?<\/b> If you request a quote or information using a form on this website, we will store the information you provide: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or address, your company name (if applicable), the service you are looking for, your message, and any photos you submit.<\/p><p><b>What is it for?<\/b> Solely to respond to your request, provide a quote, and schedule the assignment. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6.1.b of the GDPR).<\/p><p><b>Source of your request.<\/b> We also record the page and language in which you filled out the form and, if you arrived via an ad or link, the campaign data from the web address (for example, utm_source or the Google Ads click ID). This helps us determine which ads are effective (legitimate interest, Article 6.1.f of the GDPR). We do not place anything on your device for this purpose without your consent via the cookie banner.<\/p><p><b>Photos.<\/b> Photos are resized in your browser and re-saved on our server without metadata: the location (GPS), the date, and your device information are automatically removed. The photos are not stored in our media library and are not accessible via the internet; only JunkBrothers administrators can view them.<\/p><p><b>What happens to your application?<\/b> Your request will be stored in our website's administration system and emailed to our own address (info@junkbrothers.be), along with the photos in a reduced size. You will receive a confirmation email.<\/p><p><b>How long?<\/b> We automatically delete requests that do not result in an order after 12 months; photos are deleted after 6 months. Messages identified as spam are deleted after 30 days. If you become a customer, Chapter 4 (Retention Period) applies. A copy of your request will remain in our inbox until we delete it.<\/p><p><b>Who do we share them with?<\/b> With no one, except our hosting provider (EasyHost) and our email provider (Google), who process the data solely on our behalf. If a request is successful, Google Analytics receives only a notification that a request was made (including the type of service), without your name or contact information, and only if you accepted statistical or marketing cookies.<\/p><p><b>Your rights.<\/b> You can always view your data, have it corrected or deleted, and object to the use of your background information (see Chapter 7). If you are not satisfied, you can file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.be<\/a>).<\/p><h3 data-path-to-node=\"12\">4. Retention Period<\/h3><p data-path-to-node=\"13\">In deviation from standard terms, JunkBrothers applies the principle that customer data and associated visual material will be retained in our archive for as long as it is relevant to our business operations or until the data subject informs us <b data-path-to-node=\"13\" data-index-in-node=\"227\">expressly requests the deletion of this data<\/b>. This enables us to serve returning customers faster and maintain a historical overview of work performed. Naturally, we comply with the statutory retention periods for accounting documents (7 years).<\/p><h3 data-path-to-node=\"14\">5. Visual Materials and Promotion<\/h3><p data-path-to-node=\"15\">We are proud of our work and are happy to share it. For the use of imagery for promotional purposes, we adhere to the following rules:<\/p><ul data-path-to-node=\"16\"><li><p data-path-to-node=\"16,0,0\">Images will only be used for promotional purposes if they do not infringe on privacy (for example, by featuring sensitive personal information or recognizable individuals).<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"16,1,0\">For recognizable images of private property, we prefer to ask for your (verbal or written) consent during the assignment.<\/p><\/li><li><p data-path-to-node=\"16,2,0\">You always have the right to object to the use of specific images for promotional purposes. We will then remove them immediately.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><h3 data-path-to-node=\"17\">6. Sharing with Third Parties<\/h3><p data-path-to-node=\"18\">We only share data with third parties (such as subcontractors for a moving elevator or our accountant) when it is strictly necessary for the performance of the agreement or to comply with a legal obligation.<\/p><h3 data-path-to-node=\"19\">7.
